Major General Andrzej Reudowicz unveils JWC’s 15th Anniversary Logo

The JWC conducts scenario wargame in preparation of TRIDENT JUNCTURE 18

Combined NATO Exercise Planning Meetings at JWC

6H6A7125MTEP2019 THUMBNAILA number of meetings took place at the Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) in Stavanger, 18-22 September, to look at NATO’s Military Training and Exercise Programme (MTEP) for the next five years and improve coordination and cooperation between the stakeholders.

JWC One Team workshops continue

The programme which has now been running for four years is unique in NATO, being the only programme of its kind focusing on shaping the organizational culture at the HQ.

TRIDENT JAVELIN 2017: Expanding NATO’s C2 interoperability

6H6A0458melmilthumbnailThe Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) recently concluded the Main Events List/Main Incidents List (MEL/MIL) Scripting and STARTEX Validation Workshop for TRIDENT JAVELIN 17 (TRJN17), which is a Command Post/Computer-Assisted Exercise (CPX/CAX) aiming at expanding NATO’s Command and Control (C2) interoperability to conduct large scale joint warfare in a complex, multinational environment.

Internal training opportunities for newcomers and existing staff

6H6A9786 newcomerstb2The Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) concluded this year’s Newcomers' Training Programme on 25 August, welcoming 50 new staff members and their families to the organization. More specific on-the-job divisional training followed and will continue until 1 September.

Norwegian Armed Forces Cyber Defence Commander visited JWC

TRIDENT JAGUAR 2017 exercises concluded

On Thursday 6 April, the execution phase of Exercise Trident Jaguar 2017 involving 1 German/Netherlands Corps (1GNC) ended in Stavanger, Norway. This computer-assisted, command post exercise (CPX) enabled 1GNC to conduct a Land heavy, Small Joint Operation within the context of a fictitious scenario.

Second iteration of TRIDENT JAGUAR 2017 continues at JWC
