His Excellency Mr Jean-François Dobelle, the French Ambassador to Norway, accompanied by the French Defence Attaché Commander Laurent Binois, visited the Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) on Friday, 16 March.
On arrival, the delegation was greeted by Polish Army Major General Andrzej Reudowicz, JWC Commander, and French Army Lieutenant General Thierry Corbet, Rapid Reaction Corps France (RRC-FR) Commander.
Following an office call with Major General Reudowicz, the delegation was escorted to the Leiv Eiriksson room where they received a JWC mission brief. The delegation was then briefed on RRC-FR and their ongoing exercise Citadel Guibert 2018.
The official programme included a visit to the RRC-FR exercise’s Joint Operations Centre (JOC) in the Jåttå facilities. During his visit, Ambassador Dobelle also had the opportunity to meet with the French Contingent assigned to the Joint Warfare Centre.
Mr Dobelle took on his assignment as the French Ambassador to Norway in 2016.
